Our services
We are here for the Black Community to help with Maternal Health Advocacy, Ancestry Research and Motivational Speaking.
Black Maternal Health Advocacy
The picture above is of the Brooks Memorial Hospital where I was born. It was built by Dr. Phillip C. Brooks during segregation for Black people in Hopkinsville, Ky in 1944 and operated for 30 years. Learning my mother nearly died giving birth to me has helped me become and advocate for Black Families along with personal experience.
We believe every human has the right based on being a human too be treated as such. Black American families suffer the highest maternal mortality than any other group in the United States. Read how this topic is important for the future of our families. Check this section for more information and subscribe to our news letter to learn more!
Black Ancestry Research
We believe in teaching the community how to locate their ancestral line. It’s important as Black Americans to gain the knowledge about what our ancestors have given to America via their sufferings. This section will cover how to discover your own heritage. The beautiful couple above are my great grandparents Nana and Grandpop whom I loved dearly. Losing my Nana made me want to learn about her and our family. Click the photo for more information about why knowing your ancestors is important.
Black Mothers Do Breastfeed
Here’s a picture of me and my second child whom I breastfed exclusively. In this picture she’s not feeling well. How ever antibodies given to her through me, she has never stayed sick for long. We’re on a mission to STOP THE STIGMA about breastfeeding in the Black Culture one Doula at a time! We can be booked for public speaking! Stay tuned for our exciting news! And innovative ways of helping in this area! Please help support this campaign by clicking the photo and donating. Thank you for your support!
